Shipping and Returns

Shipping
Shipping rates vary depending on the speed and amount of insurance required for your item. Shipping fees are non-refundable. For your own piece of mind, any package above the value of R3000 needs to be insured and signed for, we cannot ship to PO Box addresses.

Insurance and Tracking
Once your order is placed and payment is received, your order will be shipped as soon as it is ready. You will be emailed with a tracking number for the package. All packages (insured or not for transit) will require a signature for when it arrives. For insurance reasons, we are unable to reroute packages after we have shipped them to you.

General Shipping Notice
Renate Weyer is not responsible for any delivery delays due to inclement weather, carrier delays, or incorrect addresses. If your order is lost or tampered with during shipment, please contact us to report a damaged or missing piece within 3 days of receiving your jewellery.

Returns
Jewellery bought from our ‘ready to wear’ range can be returned or exchanged. Engagement Rings and Wedding Bands can not be returned or exchanged, since they are specially made on order and we do not carry ready to wear stock of these items.

You may take advantage of our 14 day return & exchange policy. The item must be returned in its original, unworn condition within 14 days of the initial shipment. Each piece must be returned in the original packaging with all original documentation. Items that are special order, customized / altered, engraved, have been repaired / resized, or have been previously exchanged are not returnable or exchangeable. Also, rings that are not resizable such as eternity bands or rings with special patterns are not eligible for return. Please note the shipping charges and insurance are non-refundable and we do not pay for shipping, duties or taxes of items returned to us, that will be for your own account.

How to make a return or exchange
Please contact us at info@renateweyer.co.za before sending back merchandise. Once your request has been approved and logged into our system, we will send you a form to complete. Please be sure to carefully enclose each piece in its original packaging (including all paperwork and certification) with proper padding. If the package is worth R3 000 or more, it must be insured for the total purchase amount. The client will be responsible for all shipping fees, insurance and any customs duties or clearance for all shipments. Renate Weyer is not responsible for lost or damaged items during transit.
